Pioneer Wall

Museum’s lobby welcomes visitors with portraits and photographs of Langlade County’s pioneers. Some of the trunks that followed them to the Northwood's are also on display.

History Row

Portraits play a prominent role in the Langlade County Historical Society Museum. The staircase is lined with photographs of local and national figures of note as well as documents and historical accounts important to Americans.

The Military

The military display is designed as a tribute to the men and women from Langlade County who served the nation in times of need. It includes vintage uniforms, rifles, flags, helmets, medals and photographs, including Antigo’s famous Trench Mortar Division from World War I. A replica of the raising of the flag on Iwo Jima during World War II is also featured.
